Hi, I am Sarah Fish

I am the eye behind the FishSnapS. It's funny I say that because I actually work full time for an ophthalmologist. It's interesting learning about eyes at my job, I often find myself comparing eyes to cameras and lenses.

I grew up in the Hatley/Wausau area. I lived in the country where I spent a lot of time outside enjoying nature and riding my horse. I spent some time living in various parts of the state but this area was always home to me and I knew I wanted to establish a family here.

I got my first camera as a wedding gift 10 years ago. It was a Pentax. It's not mainstream like a Cannon or Nikon, which really forced me to explore my camera and learn it on my own.

When my daughter came into the picture I knew Photography was something I wanted to pursue beyond just snapping photos. She is my reason behind pushing myself to learn more and dig deeper into photography.

My style is natural and somewhat bold. Capturing true emotion and moments.
